The Venture Production system is a method pioneered by Crestlight in 2013 to launch, market and scale a portfolio of startups for the purpose of corporate economic impact, operation efficiency, process transformation or financial leverage. Venture Production is also referred to as “integrated venture capital”, a “venture studio”, or a “super accelerator”. The method was formed in Silicon Valley and inspired by the integrated major movie studios from the 1930’s. It is used primarily by corporations seeking rapid experimentation at a portfolio volume. Ownership and effective control of the startups’ capital structure is typically held by a single company or private / bespoke group of investors, corporations or partners.

The Venture Production system is unique in that the services are fully-integrated and turn-key for venture investment. The system combines collective intelligence, ecosystem diversity, corporate IP, corporate strategy, idea workshops, prototype engineering, software engineering, & product development sprints, internal and external investment capital, sales & marketing, business model development and a co-working incubator. The process is designed to identify early stage IP, ideas or concepts and produce them through a series for value creation stages to a desired outcome.

The Venture Production team is comprised of interim CEO’s, software and hardware engineers, investment executives, product managers, entrepreneurs, strategists and sales executives. This integration methodology provides for accelerated startup development between corporate teams, industry partners, technology corporations, universities and startups.
